We are so proud to be made and available in Oregon. The Pacific Northwest is home to generations of family cannabis farmers. With such a deep-seated love for cannabis in our community, it’s common to find us tasting, smelling and talking about our bud. Let’s just say, canna expectations in Oregon run HIGH.

Our state legalized in 2016 (yay!). Flower and extracts were immediately brag-worthy, but what surprised us was how little effort went into edibles. The most important ingredient was rarely mentioned. We’d finally broken down the walls of prohibition, but the most anticipated, and frankly, the most EXPENSIVE candy we’d ever purchased was just mushy and artificial tasting.

We wanted to know who grew the bud we ate, how it was processed, and how to get the mood we were after. We wanted to celebrate the experience.

As the team worked towards licensing our extraction lab, Willamette Valley Alchemy (WVA), Lynn Sherman would spend her off hours testing gummy recipes at home.

By using WVA full-spectrum extracts, the edibles became true representations of the plant. Our gummies added the perfect hint-of-hash to each bite (something other manufacturers try to cover up by using distilled extract). It was important to us that Retreats were made with the highest quality ingredients, tasted better than the rest, and paid homage to the farmers behind each batch. After 52 test recipes, Retreats were born in 2016.

Retreats have allowed WVA’s passion to spread from the extraction lab to the kitchen. Today we make 5 flavors you can enjoy in a Classic (chewy) or Vegan recipe. We continue to source each strain from farm friends and extract in house to bring you culinary-inspired adult candies worth the wait.
